Pretty good pillow December 9, 2012

I like buckwheat hull-filled pillows but over time hulls break & volume contracts so it loses its hallmark support. The XpresSpa pillow I bought at SFO last year kept it's volume due to the beads instead of hulls. It gives great support for the neck/head and I love the ability to change to a rectangular pillow. At times I don't need such a thick & resistant pillow, so I've discovered you can adjust the pillow by transferring only part of the beads to the rectangular pillow, then hold position by partially closing the zipper.
Possible major improvement: create an inner beads sack thus making the velour cover-slip removable for washing. My pillow dragged on the ground & picked up a lot of oily dirt. I'll open the stitching, remove the beads, wash the cover, replace the beads, then re-stich. But that is a lot of bother just to clean it. The velour cover slip contributes to sweating in warmer climates, so ability to wash it is paramount, not just "Wipe surface with damp cloth."
